Enjoy the Rain

Hello everyone!  The older sister here!  Sometimes the quest to be green can be overwhelming. Recycle this! Refurbish that! Reduce waste! Organic! Vegan! There are so many messages with so many things to consider.  It shouldn't be that complicated.  One way to live a eco-friendly life can simply mean to just enjoy what this Earth has to offer.

Today while my son was napping, I heard heavy rain fall outside.  The large water drops made a pitter-patter on the windows.  It's been a while since I heard rain like that.  The falling rain was so loud, I thought it would wake him up but it actually sounded pretty soothing.  So I sat and enjoyed Mother Nature doing her thing.  Think about it.  Water falling from the sky?!  It's quite amazing.

So take a walk outside.  Listen to the wind. Breathe the fresh air.  Look up at the clouds.  Listen to the birds.  Smell the flowers. Simply enjoy this beautiful Earth.
